Match of the night honours go to this tidy tag pitting the relatively fresh squad of Andrade and Rey Fenix vs. DIY. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have been calling themselves the leaders of the SmackDown tag division without actually backing that up, so this was all about shutting their mouths and forcing them to eat some humble pie.

Job done.

It's hard to argue with putting Andrade and Fenix together if they’re going to be a full time thing. Neither has been doing anything special individually, and they could do wonderful things as a regular duo if given the chance. This performance proved it. Long matches don’t become great automatically due to length, or shouldn’t, but this quartet let everything breathe and it was a good watch from beginning to end.

Also, both Andrade and Rey have the necessary explosiveness needed to work hot tags, and they’ll only get better/slicker the more they continue to gel. Yeah, this fan really, really hopes that Triple H sticks with them as a team going forwards. They'd be better challengers for The Street Profits than The Wyatt Sicks, put it that way.

DIY are in a unique spot - they don't need to win every match, and it's actually better if they get put in their place for being big heads every so often. Gargano must be chuffed that fans in Riyadh were chanting "Johnny Wrestling" at him as the match started too. He and Ciampa aren't used to this kind of response in the US.

Go out of your way to check this match out before Night Of Champions airs. It's well worth seeing.
