Liv Morgan Set For WWE Hiatus (WWE News)
Liv Morgan set to take a break from WWE.

For those who may have yet to catch up with last night's WWE Raw, Liv Morgan is set to take a leave of absence from the company in order to film a movie.
Mike Johnson over at PWInsider initially reported this before Raw, who stated how Liv would be having a "big week" next week. As part of that big week, this movie project will be officially revealed, with Morgan said to have a "major role" in this picture.

It's not known at this stage exactly how long Liv Morgan will be away from WWE, although a "major role" would suggest that she'll be off WWE TV for a good while. Of course, Liv and Raquel Rodriguez are currently in the midst of their fourth reign as the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, so it remains to be seen how things will play out on that front.
In terms of what's next for those titles, WWE has a few options on the table. Depending on Liv's schedule, we could get a title switch at some point in the coming weeks, although it wouldn't be a particular surprise if WWE just kept the Women's Tag Team Championships on Morgan and Rodriguez despite Liv being absent from TV. Of course, we've seen several instances previously of one Tag Champ being replaced by a surrogate Tag Champ, most recently Naomi taking Jade Cargill's spot as one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Bianca Belair. Likewise, Piper Niven forcibly made herself a Tag Champ with Chelsea Green when Sonya Deville went down with an ACL injury.

Liv Morgan, Hollywood Star?
As Liv herself detailed on Raw, she's needing time off to film "a big Hollywood movie". Now, could Morgan be the next WWE star to start testing the waters a little more when it comes to the silver screen?
While this won't be Liv's first acting gig, it sounds like it will certainly be her biggest role yet. Previously, she had a minor role in 2023's Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman-fronted comedy-thriller The Kill Room, and also popped up in incredibly memorable fashion in Chucky's second season, where she was brutally butchered by everyone's favourite Good Guy doll.
From a pro wrestling stance, Liv Morgan has been putting in the finest work of her career across this past year or more, both as an in-ring worker and in terms of her character work. Simply put, Liv has been an MVP of the women's division since returning from a shoulder injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble.
