7 New Directions For WWE After Elimination Chamber 2025
It's 2025 and WWE just gave us heel John Cena. He also joined The Rock!

Unexpected wouldn't do it justice.
WWE dropped a shocking bombshell at Elimination Chamber 2025 by having John Cena turn heel mid-retirement tour. Not only that, but the legend joined The Rock and battered a defenceless Cody Rhodes. Recency bias be damned - this is one of the biggest swerves in company history. Actually, scratch that. Industry history.
Cena's dramatic corporate heel turn capped off a fine Chamber event that also had huge WrestleMania 41 ramifications elsewhere. Jade Cargill is back, Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley is about to happen, Tiffany Stratton will surely vanquish Charlotte Flair in the other major Women's Title match, Randy Orton returned to stop Kevin Owens from ending Sami Zayn's career and more.
It was all kicking off in Toronto. Triple H gave fans Trish Stratus, Randy Orton, The Rock, CM Punk and John Cena. What year is this? Some people might be wondering that as they pick their jaws up off the floor. Chamber was a majestic night of violent grudges, surprising twists and turns, and some thoroughly excellent wrestling. The best thing about it? WWE's hefty schedule means there's no time to rest.
The first chapter on the last stretch before 'Mania starts on Monday at Raw. Then, it's onto SmackDown, then Raw again, then...you get the point. WWE will be full steam ahead until screeching into Las Vegas for what could, on paper, be one of the biggest WrestleMania weekends of all time.
Here's everything you need to know about the latest booking coming out of Chamber. It was crazy.
7. Tiffany Stratton Conquering Charlotte Flair

People barely have time to moan about the prospect of Charlotte Flair winning yet another belt and squashing Tiffany Stratton's meteoric rise. There's so much happening in WWE after Chamber! However, it's important to re-focus and encourage Triple H to do the right thing. Flair doesn't deserve all of the hate she gets, and she has been a fine worker atop the women's division for a generation, but Stratton must emerge victorious at WrestleMania 41.
Her story with Nia Jax wrapped up on Saturday night in Toronto. Tiffany pinned her old mentor then celebrated with Trish Stratus. On Trish - she looked like she does this every single week, which is incredible. Stratus is arguably even better in-ring nowadays than she was during her prime years. So, it's back to the drawing board for Nia and Candice LeRae, but the bigger fish is Stratton beating Flair to retain her gold.
Being honest, the pair have their work cut out for them heading into Vegas. Triple H will have stars aplenty to appease, so it'd be smart to put Stratton vs. Charlotte on early during night one and just get through it. That might be harsh. Let's wait and see how the final leg of build towards the bout shapes up. It could be a surprise package.
Jax and LeRae are firmly in Tiffy's rearview mirror regardless. One of 2024's best female feuds just closed at Chamber, and that means it's onto the next. Fingers crossed that isn't the last we see of Trish in 2025 either. She was genuinely superb here.
